Who We Are: Prayer is the key to everything in our Christian walk! A “Prayer Warrior” is one who is dedicated to prayer, spends time reading the Bible, is “on fire” for God and His purpose, and has a willing and obedient spirit. The “Prayer Warriors” group at White Plains Baptist Church is composed of church members who pray to our Lord and Savior on behalf of the physically and spiritually afflicted. Our goal is to encourage people to build a bridge of communication with our Father, to raise a generation of praying tongues and to demonstrate God’s gifts of the Holy Spirit through love, compassion, hope and joy.
How it Works: The need for prayer from within or outside of our church family is communicated through the Prayer Warrior cordinator. This information is then disseminated via email to our “Prayer Warriors".
