YOUTH GROUP
Our Youth Ministry
- The Goal of our Youth Ministry is to reach youth with the Gospel of Christ, connect them to other young believers, help them grow in their faith, and encourage them to serve others and worship God with their lives.
- Our vision is to see our youth mature to the point in their faith in which they continue to stay involved in the life of the Church and bear spiritual fruit after they have graduated from the youth ministry.
- What we do:
- Youth Group - meets every Wednesday from 6:30 PM -7:30 PM at the Church. During this time we hang out, play games and spend time listening to and talking about God’s Word. We welcome all Junior and Senior High School students to join us.
- Sunday School - meets at 9:45 AM each week. Classes are divided into Junior High and Senior High School students.
- Special Events - Every year we hold several outreach events like lock-ins, concerts, and what we call TRASH (Teens Relaxing at Someone's House) nights. Other events are more focused on growing deeper in our faith. These events include camps, conferences and things like the 30 Hour Famine which helps raise money to feed needy children in less fortunate areas of the world. We usually have at least one event per month.
- Adult Team - A. K. A "the A-Team". The A-Team consist of several committed Christian adults who love students. In addition to helping out at youth meetings and events, our A-team also spends time with our youth going out to eat, talking or texting on the phone and participating in extra-curricular activities and just hanging out.
